At one point a neighborhood black lab tried to be a part of the action, Sandpoint’s Breanna Buchmiller and Casey Bottomly were all smiles as they escorted the pooch off of the field.
This last Friday night was the Kootenai Community Church Awana Fun fair. This annual event it a lot of fun as area kids fill the old church building playing carnival style games, getting their faces painted and of course getting wild and crazy from all the sugar in the cotton candy! This year I had opportunity to participate by bringing some of our props and setting up the photo booth. The booth was a lot of fun and we took a lot of really fun photos, here is a sampling of the over 600 photos taken over the course of the evening.
And finally, what will probably end up being one of the favorite photos among the members of Kootenai Community Church, Pastor Jim visited the booth and he sported one of our finest wigs!
Recently Newport made the short journey over the Idaho/Washington border to face Priest River in both Softball and Baseball. Here are a few shots from the games, links to the full galleries can be found at the bottom of the post.
The class of 2012 from my church, Kootenai Community Church, will be having a special graduation ceremony in June and they needed a photo of the group for the invitations. Being spring in North Idaho scheduling a photo shoot with just one person can be hard, add in the often conflicting schedules of 5 busy seniors and you can imagine how hard it might be. We ended up rescheduling our shoot due to weather or illness at least half a dozen times, but then by what some people would call luck and others providence we had a short break in the rain on a Sunday afternoon and we were able to finally get our photographs. Here are a few from the afternoon.
Ginger Knits Fiber Studio is working toward launching their website and today I had an opportunity to work with some adorable models as we did a few product shots. If these don’t put a smile on your face I think you should seriously think about talking to a medical professional!
Finally a spring sporting event that I wanted to cover did not get canceled due to the weather! Last Friday I spend the afternoon at Deer Park High School for the 7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational Track Meet. For results from this meet you can visit this link at Athletic.net.
