2013 Christina Finney Track Meet (Post Falls Photographer)
/in Track and Field /by Jason Duchowhe 2013 Christina Finney Co-Ed Relays at Post Falls High School included hosted teams from Timberlake, Lakeland, Moscow, Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene, Lake City and Lewiston. One of the hard things about covering a track meet is that the events are often spread far apart so it is impossible for one person to be at every event. For this meet I spent some time at the shot put and discus rings and went back and forth between the track events and the high jump pit. I also grabbed a few pole vault shots on my travels between the throws area and the track.
Final results from each event can be found on Athletic.net and full galleries of photos can be found on my website at this link: http://bit.ly/ZvXQ7jJason Duchow Photography is located near Sandpoint and Priest River Idaho and serves throughout Idaho and Eastern Washington. Battle of the Buck 2012
/in Basketball, Cheerleading, Pep Band, Sports Photography /by Jason DuchowSaturday was a very busy and exhausting day, the first 8 hours was spent photographing a wedding in Sandpoint after that I had to hustle to Priest River in time to set up my lights for the Annual “Battle of the Buck” basketball spirit games. Weddings are a lot of work and with all that happens at the Battle of the Buck it is one of the more tiring sporting events that I cover, add those together on the same day and you have one sore shooting hand and one useless photographer the next day! Thankfully it was worth the Battle of the Buck is such a fun event and I would have been really disappointed to miss it!
Here are some shots from the evening, there is also a link at the bottom of this post where you can see all the galleries from the event.
