05/11/2013 Track, Softball and Baseball

Yesterday was a busy and full day for sure!  I started the day covering some of the Intermountain League 3A Regional Track Meet in Spirit Lake, then it was off to Rathdrum for a 4A IEL Softball tournament game between Sandpoint and Lakeland.  After the softball game I was able to catch a couple of innings of a Regional Baseball game between Wallace/Kellogg and Bonners Ferry and the whole game between Priest River and Bonners Ferry.

2013 Battle of the Buck – Stop Motion Style Video

For the third year in a row I was able to make it to the Battle of the Buck spirit games between Priest River High School and Timberlake High School.  This time around I decided to cover the event a little different than normal.  With all of the activity of the crowd and the fun of the different competitions I decided to photograph the event with the intention of putting together a stop motion style video.  In all I used over 7,000 photos to make a video a little less than 10 minutes long.  I would not normally produce a video of this nature that was more than 4 or 5 minutes long, but since I was producing this to record the entire event for those that took part I decided not to cut it down.
