Every December Newport High School and Priest River High School trade off in hosting the annual Christmas Tournament. This was my third year covering the event which includes the boys and girls teams from the two rotating host schools as two other area teams. This year Northwest Christian and Selkirk were in attendance. After it was all said and done it was the Northwest Christian and Newport teams that would move on to the championship games the next day. 7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational

Finally a spring sporting event that I wanted to cover did not get canceled due to the weather! Last Friday I spend the afternoon at Deer Park High School for the 7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational Track Meet. For results from this meet you can visit this link at Athletic.net.
