03/29/2013 IML Softball Tournament (Bonners Ferry Photographer)

7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational
Finally a spring sporting event that I wanted to cover did not get canceled due to the weather! Last Friday I spend the afternoon at Deer Park High School for the 7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational Track Meet. For results from this meet you can visit this link at Athletic.net. Aaron Castle of Newport moved into second place in the national standings in the Shot Put with this throw of 64′ 7″, click for a larger view.

2012 IML Boys District Tournament (Game 4)
The fourth game of the Intermountain League Boys Basketball Tournament matched Timberlake with Bonners Ferry. Timberlake came out ahead in this contest and earned the right to play for the IML’s second seed to the Idaho State Tournament on Friday.
Oops, a little spill . . .actually a pretty big spill of about 5 gallons of ice water came down around the Bonners Ferry guitar players feet.

IML Boys District Tournament (Game 1)
Round 1 of the Intermountain League boys basketball tournament featured the Bonners Ferry Badgers and the Priest River Spartans. It was a hard fought game with the Badgers coming out ahead in this loser out game.

12/16/2011 Moose Madness
This year the annual Moose Madness Basketball Spirit Games between Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry were held in Sandpoint. Bonners Ferry came in seeking to defend as champion, but this year Sandpoint pulled out a win. One thing I learned at this game was that I need to add ear plugs to my photography bag for next year’s competition! Weekly Sports Recap (8/22/2011)
This week the Fall High School sports season officially began. On the schedule this last week were two varsity soccer games and a football jamboree.
Varsity Girls Soccer – Sandpoint vs. Post Falls
Kicking off the week was the season opener for Sandpoint and Post Falls Varsity Girls Soccer. Post falls jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals by Kilie Ellison and Jessica Waller but Sandpoint fought back and won the game 2-3 with goals by Meghan Pagano, Emma Weme and Ellie Engel. Boys Varsity Soccer – Sandpoint vs. Coeur d’Alene
The Sandpoint Bulldogs and Coeur d’Alene Vikings kicked off their season with a 2-2 tie. Scoring for the Bulldogs was Aaron Crossingham and Raleigh Hanson, both of the Vikings goals were scored by Adam Borshiem. The full gallery can be found here: http://bit.ly/oCyHs3
