Demers Family (Sandpoint Photographer)

This last weekend the Dave and Cindy celebrated as their son Eric got married.  Just days before the event I had the opportunity to take their last set of family photos before Eric set of on the adventure of starting his own family.  I am blessed to have had the opportunity to capture this moment in time for such a great and beautiful family!

    Hi,
Great shots, perfect lighting. Can I ask, what kind of lighting do you use? I have family in N Idaho, Grandparents donated land to Cocolalla lk Bible Camp and Church so that is how I found your photography site…and you do a fantastic job. I have noticed your lighting is great and am really curious about your setup! Thanks, from a fellow photog in Seattle.

Jill, thank you so much for your complimentary words, it is nice to digitally meet you! The camp is such a blessing, it is so nice to have such a great camp with such an outstanding staff so close by, I am very grateful for CLBC.

At this point I am going totally strobist with 3 speedlights and pocket wizards to control them. I don’t have a studio so I am exclusively an on location photographer, using this set up can have it’s downsides but it is very mobile. These photos were shot with two lights, one in a softbox and the other in a beauty dish. I had to use them at full power to get enough light to compensate for the very bright background, but thankfully I was able to push them enough to get a proper exposure.
