Huey Lewis and The News – 2014 Festival at Sandpoint

Last night I had the pleasure of doing some freelance work for the Bonner County Daily Bee covering the Huey Lewis and The News show at the 2014 Festival at Sandpoint.  One fun fact about the show is that my next door neighbor when I was growing is the lead singer for the opening act, The Miah Kohal Band.  It was fun to see this talented local band playing to the sell out crowd and they put on a great show.  During those growing up years who would have guessed that Miah would someday be playing the same stage as one of my favorite bands.  Well, enough with the nostalgia, on with the photos!

Festival at Sandpoint – Counting Crows

In August the Counting Crows visited Northern Idaho for the Festival at Sandpoint and now, only 8 short months later, I am finally getting around to posting some photos from the concert on my blog.

Brenton Brown at Mountain Springs Church (Bonners Ferry Photographer)

This last Sunday Mountain Springs Church (www.mtspringschurch.org) in Bonners Ferry celebrated their second birthday.  I was blessed to have the opportunity to be there to capture some images while Christian recording artist Brenton Brown (www.brentonbrown.com) led the Sunday night worship service.  Here are a handful, actually more like two handfuls, of images from the evening.

Michael Franti Concert – 2011 Festival at Sandpoint

Tonight, after shooting a surprise wedding vow renewal, I was able to make it to the Festival at Sandpoint’s Michael Franti concert to see if I could get some shots to submit to the Daily Bee.  Everyone was having a great time and I certainly enjoyed the show the best way I know how, up close with my 70-200 lens!  Here are a few of my favorites from tonight’s concert.
