7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational

Finally a spring sporting event that I wanted to cover did not get canceled due to the weather!  Last Friday I spend the afternoon at Deer Park High School for the 7th Annual Dan Birdsell Invitational Track Meet.   For results from this meet you can visit this link at Athletic.net.   Now for a few photos from the meet.

Aaron Castle of Newport moved into second place in the national standings in the Shot Put with this throw of 64′ 7″, click for a larger view.
