2013 Idaho State Softball Tournament (Day 2)

This year the Idaho State 4A and 5A State Softball Tournaments were both held in North Idaho.  Participating in the 4A tournament in Post Falls was Twin Falls, Skyview, Bishop Kelly, Century, Lakeland, Kuna, Blackfoot and Canyon Ridge.  The 5A tournament in Coeur d’Alene featured Highland, Coeur d’Alene, Eagle, Centenial, Lake City, Rocky Mountain, Skyline and Boise.

On day 2 I was able to cover both the 5A Championship game between Eagle and Lake City, Lake City took home the championship 10-0.  Due to rain the previous night the 4A games were moved to Coeur d’Alene High school and the championship game start time was changed allowing me to also cover the 4A Championship game between Lakeland and Bishop Kelly, Bishop Kelly won the championship 4-2.   Also check out the blog post from Day 1 as well as a blog post featuring a stop action video from the entire tournament on this post.  For all of the photos from the weekend visit my website at this link: http://bit.ly/15XWImB
