The final game of the 2012 Intermountain League Boys Basketball Tournament came down to Timberlake and St. Maries, they were battling for the second seed to the State Tournament. Both teams played a great game but in the end it was St. Maries that with the victory. For this game I decided to put on the wide angle lens for a while, here are a few shots from ground level at 17mm.
The 2012 Intermountain League Boys Basketball Tournament Championship Game proved to be as exciting as expected. The Kellogg Wildcats brought home the tournament championship as well as the first seed to State from the IML with their victory over the Lumberjacks from St. Maries.
The fourth game of the Intermountain League Boys Basketball Tournament matched Timberlake with Bonners Ferry. Timberlake came out ahead in this contest and earned the right to play for the IML’s second seed to the Idaho State Tournament on Friday.
Oops, a little spill . . .actually a pretty big spill of about 5 gallons of ice water came down around the Bonners Ferry guitar players feet.
Game 3 of the 2012 Intermountain League Boys Basketball Tournament featured the number 1 seed St. Maries Lumberjacks against the number 4 seed Bonners Ferry Badgers.
The second match up of the 2012 IML Boys District Basketball Tournament featured the second seed Timberlake Tigers and the third seed Kellogg Wildcats.
Round 1 of the Intermountain League boys basketball tournament featured the Bonners Ferry Badgers and the Priest River Spartans. It was a hard fought game with the Badgers coming out ahead in this loser out game.
The 2012 4A Girls Idaho State Championship game featured the Middleton Vikings against the Rigby Trojans. Coming off of a record setting performance against Moscow, Rigby’s Alli Furniss sought to lead the Trojans to a victory over the reigning 4A State Champions. The ladies from Middleton had their eyes set on a third straight title, a goal they were able to achieve as they defeated Rigby 51-35. Congratulations to both teams on a great season and a state tournament performance!
The 2012 3A Girls Idaho State Championship game featured the Timberlake Tigers against the Marsh Valley Eagles. Marsh Valley successfully completed a perfect season with a 25-0 record in their 64-47 victory over Timberlake. Congratulations to both teams for a great season and State Tournament performance! On Day 3 of my coverage of the Idaho State Girls Basketball Tournament for IdahoSports.com I photographed the game for 3rd place in the 3A Division between Priest River and Snake River and I was also able to make it for the second half of the 5a 3rd place game between Highland and Coeur d’Alene.
I covered some very exciting games on Day 2 of the Idaho State Tournament for IdahoSports.com. The game between Carey and Summit Academy went into three overtime periods and the game between Timberlake and Snake River ended with only a 1 point difference after 2 overtime periods. Here is a photographic recap of the four games that I covered on Friday.
